SHORT ROLL PLAY

Daha önce belirtiğim gibi sistemi oyuncular öğrendikten sonra, oyunların üzerinde istediğiniz şekilde değişiklik yapabiliyorsunuz. 

Çok baskı olduğu zaman oyunu kesip hemen bir pick and roll veya birebir oynamak yerine, önce back door arayıp, olmadığı takdirde bazı cutlar ile (örneğin bu oyunda “twirl cut “ile.. ) kolay basket arayışlarına girebiliyoruz.

Bu hareketler sırasında savunma başarılı olsa bile dengesi bozuluyor ve en sonunda short roll ve yan kaymalar ile kolay bir atış buluyoruz.

As I mentioned before, once players learn the system, you can make any adjustments you want to the plays.

When there is heavy pressure, instead of stopping the play and immediately going into a pick-and-roll or isolation, we first look for a backdoor option. If that’s not available, we use certain cuts (for example, a twirl cut in this play) to create easy scoring opportunities.

Even if the defense is successful during these actions, their balance is disrupted, and eventually we are able to find an open shot through a short roll and lateral movement.
